Unfortunately, like most people my age, before grade 10 the most I’d done to combat the global catastrophe of global warming pertained to just decent consumerism. All I did was avoid single use plastics, planted a few trees, and did my best to save electricity, and I’m embarrassed to say that I was very proud of myself for doing just that.
